The following experiment you'll see in this video is very interesting on a visual level, as we can see the creation and extinction of a whirlpool inside a plastic bottle. This happens because when you put two bottles together from the tops, water doesn't fall due to the low compression of air that is in the lower part of the bottle. When you turn the top bottle, a small whirlpool appears that is communicated with the air in the bottom bottle and then the water from the top bottle starts to fall in the shape of a whirlpool to the bottom bottle. If you want to see how to create a whirlpool experiment, don't miss the following video.

You'll need:

  • Two transparent bottles of plastic
  • Scissors
  • Knife
  • Drill (if you want as it's not necessary)
  • Lighter
  • Sticky tape

Tips

  • It's important for the tops to be well stuck
  • Be careful making the holes as you can get hurt.
